Red Velvet Kek!...

Arini selesai membakar dan jge memakan haha Red Velvet  Cake nih...sedap teramat!..actually terlebih letak butter , but it turns out like wat i want it to be..yeah!!...warne merah mmg kaw2!!..sebotol kau pewarne merah digunakan,..haaa,..brula mengancam warner red velvet neyh!!..






mmmmmmmm...kek lmbutttt...cream cheese marvoloso!!..haha..melt in mouth cake!..i luv it...

Choc Cake wif Mousse Filling, nmpk Sedap!

When this cake was served, and the first forkfuls passed everyone's lips, I waited...and waited for a reaction. Silence...a moment of reverence. Smiles broke out around the table.

I get to be in charge of making the chocolate cake from now on.
 

 
To begin, make the mousse and set aside in the refrigerator. Bake the cake and mix the frosting. (Recipes to follow.) When the cake is baked, let cool thoroughly, and then cut in half horizontally. I think it might be a good idea to slightly freeze the layers for ease in handling. Place one of the cake layers on your serving plate and pipe a dam of frosting around the circumference of the cake.
  
Fill inside the inside of the dam with a generous portion of that gorgeous mousse and smooth.


Do this with the remaining layers, leaving the top of the cake plain as it will be frosted.
 
Frost the outside and top of the cake with the frosting. Decorate as desired; I don't have any real cake decorating skills, but I have dressed this up with chocolate covered strawberries when strawberries were in season. Refrigerate any extra mousse and frosting. Finished cake should also be refrigerated and taken out just before serving time.
Hershey's "Perfectly Chocolate" Chocolate Cake

 
2 cups sugar
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cups Hershey's cocoa
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water

  1. Heat oven to 350* Fahrenheit. Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans.
  2. Combine dry ingredients into large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water. (Batter will be thin.) Pour into pans.
  3. Bake 30-35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely.
 
"Perfectly Chocolate" Chocolate Frosting

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine
2/3 cup Hershey's cocoa
3 cups powdered sugar (confectioners' sugar)
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Melt butter. Stir in cocoa. Alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating on medium speed to spreading consistency. Add more milk if needed. Stir in vanilla. About 2 cups frosting.

 
Chocolate Mousse

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups cold, heavy cream, plus an additional 1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup granulated white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

In a medium saucepan, combine the confectioners' sugar and 1/2 cup heavy cream. Stir over low heat.

Add the semisweet chocolate chips, stirring frequently as they melt and the mixture becomes well blended.

Remove from heat, stir in the vanilla and set this mixture aside.

In a separate, large bowl, beat the remaining 1 1/2 cup heavy cream on medium speed and gradually add the granulated sugar. When all the sugar has been incorporated, beat the mixture on high speed until stiff peaks form.

Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture, taking care not to overmix. Refrigerate for at least one hour before using on your cake.

Raya!!..Raya!! ...Raya!!

Salam, ai ngkorang,...raya-raya neyh, Mama nk bagi Macarons kt sedara mare,.. waaaa.. shedapppnyaaaa makan macaronsla di pagi raye ,.. Heee...pergh!!..next week memang wat satu batu or maybe 2 batches of macarons for dis raya !!..x sabar nk wat lagi next week!!...next week nisa akan upload macaron yang telah disusun rapi, baek punya lam box...^^...nk wat 2 batch laa..bnyak kaler ley letak..^^..maybe dis macs akan diwat untuk raye!!! Pistachio macarons, Orang ckap sedap,...kos mahal neyhh...tp xpe,..biar mahal asal sedappp!! ...


Let's try!!

Pistachio Macaron Batter:
  • 1 ¼ cups confectioner's sugar
  • 4 oz pistachios
  • ¼ cup plus 2 tbsps egg whites at room temperature
  • pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup sugar
Pistachio Filling:
  • 1 1/2 oz pistachios
  • 1 c confectioner's sugar
  • 6 tbs softened butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 350F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
Process the pistachios with powdered sugar until you get fine pistachio flour. (I processed for 3 1-minute intervals mixing with a spatula between each.)
In a greaseless bowl, combine the egg whites with the pinch of salt. Beat on medium power until soft peaks start to form. Increase the speed, gradually beat in the sugar and continue to whip until stiff and firm peaks form, about 2 minutes. Sieve the pistachio flour and fold it into the egg whites in two batches, mixing with a spatula just until no streaks remain. This will seem to be a lot of pistachio flour for the amount of egg whites you have, but it will work out.
Scrape the batter into a pastry bag with a round tip. Pipe 1" circles of macaron batter about 1" apart on parchment lined baking sheets. Rap the baking sheets firmly on the table to remove air bubbles. Let rest for about an hour until the macarons develop a skin. Bake for 10 minutes.
For the filling, process the pistachios and the confectioner's sugar just like you did for the macaron batter. Cream this with the softened butter until uniformly mixed.
Cool the macarons completely before you remove them from the parchment. Pair similar sized ones and glue them with some pistachio filling. I feel that the macarons benefit from an overnight rest in the refrigerator, but they can be enjoyed immediately, too.

Haaaaa..italian method neyh lebih stable skit macs dier,..n so far, so gud!..macs yg telah dihasilkn oleh kuuu ..tu diaa.tu diaa..dia mai daaaa...:

Jill Colonna- Mad Bout Macaron

Dapat punnn buku macarons!!!..tp french method, yg dicarik italian method!!..tp x pelah, berjanggut mencarik, nsb bek x bercendawan!...haha..memang tido pun ngan bku neyh...dasyatttt x???...hahaa..siap termimpi2 nk bwat macs time tu..perghhhh penangan macs neyh!,,seksa haku!..but it's worth it lepas join klas my member n bce bku neyh,..lots of information dpt!!..Baguih Jill Colonna neyh!..I like gitiewwwww!!..x tipu2 lagi (gaye nazmi keh najmi raja lawak, lpelah nme dier kui2!!) info yg dier bg mmg berguna walaupun french, but pantang larang wat macs, diberitahu jgk lam bku ni..n try recipe filling dier, mmg best ar!..sedap!..especially CHOC GANACHE!..it was tasty n delicious!!!

Macaron Madness

Haa....bulan ney mmg bulan kegilaan Macarons, tol x??..kann~~...samelah ngan empunya blog ney, gila macs sampai termimpi-mimpi..setiap mlm termimpi macarons different flavor (wahaa!! tipuww sgt kann hahaha!) ..well,..mmg gile sgt pasal macaron sebabbbb dierla makhluk yg plg comel dilihat dan plg sedap dimakan!!...sape stuju?..nisa rse smua stuju pnyehhh..^^..first macs Nisa wat is FRENCH Macarons, toooooo sweeet! bt teksture dier AMMMMAH! sedap!..haha..pastu p blaja kat membe, Ha! sesape nk p kelas macs, leyla visit G Macarons kt FB eah..owner dier ad wat kelas!..^^...seorang yang baik n x kedekut ilmu...Azzi Huda namenya..^^..okayh, rase cm bnyk sgt celoteh!..borink da nk tlis, jum kte ngok gambar macs yg nisa wat laa!..JOM!...
